Happy parents’
reviews.

Over 600 five-star reviews across our Oakville and Brampton arenas — a good chunk of them from parents who booked a kids birthday party and did not have to run any of it.

★★★★★
Most importantly, my son had an unforgettable birthday. Days later, his friends are still talking about the experience, and it has become one of the most talked-about events among his classmates. If you’re looking for a unique birthday party venue that kids will genuinely remember, VR Vibe is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

We had our kid’s 12th birthday party at VR Vibe Oakville. All the girls had an amazing time. The place was clean and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We did visit a couple of times with friends before we decided to have the party there and needless to say we’ll definitely be visiting again.

What a party
actually looks like.

The whole place is yours

Every birthday package is a private event — the facility is blocked off for your group alone. No other groups in the arena and no waiting behind another party. You get the run of the place for your booked window.

A host runs it, not you

A dedicated game host meets your group, gears every kid up, explains the games and stays with them the whole time. Parents genuinely do not have to organize anything once you arrive — the most common thing we hear is that it’s the first party they’ve actually sat down at.

Unlimited gaming, not one game

“Unlimited VR gaming” means exactly that: within your gaming hour (or 1.5 or 2.5 hours, depending on the package) the group can switch between titles as often as they like. Do a zombie round, argue about it, jump into an escape room, then go back for a rematch. Nothing is locked to one experience.

Food, cake and the rest of your time

Your booking runs longer than the gaming time on purpose — the rest of it is yours for pizza, cake, candles and presents. Gold, Platinum and Diamond include large pizzas and unlimited pop; every package lets you bring your own food, so allergy-safe options, a specific bakery cake or a full home-made spread are all fine.

Big groups and taking turns

Up to 12 players are in the arena together at once. On the Diamond package (up to 20 guests) the group rotates — some play while the rest are eating and watching on the spectator screen, then they swap. The host manages the rotation so nobody gets forgotten and the energy never drops.

Ages, safety and first-timers

All players must be 8 or older, including the birthday child. No gaming experience is needed by anyone — there are no button combinations to learn, because walking, looking and reaching is the control system. The arena is open, padded floor space with a host watching the whole time.

When to book

Weekend slots go one to two weeks ahead, Saturdays first. If your date is fixed, ask two to three weeks out. Weekday parties (Monday–Thursday) are easier to get on short notice, and Monday to Thursday is 10% off.

Kids birthday parties near you

If you have been searching for kids birthday party places near you, or somewhere to book a birthday party that is not another trampoline park, this is the one nobody has done twice. We run VR birthday parties at two arenas — Oakville on Lakeshore Rd W and Brampton on Walker Drive — and both have free parking right outside.

Most of our party bookings drive in, and the arenas are an easy trip from Burlington, Mississauga, Milton, Georgetown, Halton Hills, Caledon, Etobicoke and Vaughan. If you are looking for a birthday party in Burlington or a kids party place in Mississauga, Oakville is usually the closer of the two; from Caledon or Georgetown, Brampton is.

Parties are usually ages 8 to 15, but the family-friendly titles work from 6, and teen and adult birthdays book the same packages. Not sure which games suit the group? The shortlist below is where most parties start, and the full library is on our VR action games and VR escape rooms pages.

Booking for a work team instead? See corporate team building. Buying for someone else, or stuck on a present for the kid who has everything? A VR Vibe gift card never expires and works at both arenas.

Birthday questions,
answered.

Where can I host a VR birthday party near Oakville or Brampton?

VR Vibe runs free-roam VR birthday parties at two arenas: 2304 Lakeshore Rd W in Oakville and 200 Walker Drive in Brampton. If you’re searching for a birthday party place in Burlington, Mississauga, Milton, Georgetown, Halton Hills or Caledon, both arenas are an easy drive — most of our party families come from 20–30 minutes away, and there’s free parking on site at both locations.

What age is a VR birthday party good for?

Our sweet spot is ages 8 to 15 — old enough for the headset to fit well and the games to land. That said, our family-friendly titles work from age 6, and adult birthday parties are more common than you’d think: the games don’t get easier for grown-ups. Tell us the ages when you inquire and we’ll steer the group to the right experiences on the day.

How many kids can the party handle?

Up to 6 players are inside the same game at the same time, all seeing and hearing each other. Bigger parties rotate: one group plays while the other has food in the party space, then they swap. Parties of 10–14 kids run this way every weekend and the rotation keeps the energy up rather than killing it.

Do parents need to plan or run anything?

No — that’s the point. A dedicated game master gears every kid up, explains everything, runs the games and handles the group for the whole session. Parents watch the chaos on the spectator screen, take photos, or genuinely just sit down. You bring the cake; we do the rest.

Can we bring our own food and cake?

Yes — the Full and Ultimate packages include a private party space for exactly that. Bring your own cake and snacks, or add pizza and drinks through us and skip the carrying. Candles, singing and frosting-covered controllers all welcome (the controllers wipe clean; we checked).

How far ahead should I book?

Weekend party slots fill up one to two weeks in advance — Saturdays first. If your date is fixed, inquire two to three weeks out and you’ll have your pick of times. Weekday parties can usually be arranged within a few days.

Why do kids remember a VR party more than other party places?

The kids are in the game together — walking through it, not watching it. A zombie level or an escape room played as a team is a shared story they retell for months, which is exactly what a birthday is supposed to produce. It also works in any weather, there’s no gear to bring, and the party doesn’t depend on one entertainer holding twelve kids’ attention.
