Not all VR
is the same.
Search “VR near me” and most of what comes back is booth VR — headset on, feet planted, cable behind you. Nothing wrong with it. It is just not the same night.

Why choose
VR Vibe?
VR Vibe Brampton is a free-roam virtual reality arena where you walk through the game on your own legs instead of standing still with a thumbstick. Whether you are booking a VR escape room in Brampton, VR action games, a birthday party or a corporate team building session, here is what actually makes it different. We also run a second arena in Oakville.

01
A real arena, not a booth
A big open arena you actually walk across, not a marked-out square you have to stay inside. No boundary box, no standing on a pad waving at a screen.
-
02
Wireless, current-gen equipment
Standalone headsets with full-body tracking and no cable to the ceiling. Nothing tugs on you, nothing to trip over, and no five-year-old kit held together with tape.
-
03
Private sessions, always
You book the arena, not a seat in it. Your group plays alone — no strangers dropped into your game and no queueing behind somebody else’s party.
-
04
A game master runs the whole thing
Someone gears you up, briefs the group and picks the right game for who actually turned up. You are not handed a headset and left to work it out.
-
05
New games added regularly
The library keeps growing. Come back in a few months and there is something you have not played, which is why most of our bookings are people returning.

06
Genuinely easy for beginners
No controls to memorize and no experience needed. Free-roam also means far less motion sickness than seated VR, because what you see and what your body feels agree.
Bored in Brampton?
Need fun things to do?
Free-roam VR at our Walker Drive arena is one of the few things to do in Brampton where a whole group is inside the same story at once — walking around a real space, talking to each other, with nobody on their phone. Search for fun things to do around here and you mostly get things you watch or things you eat.
Indoor things to do in Brampton when the weather turns
A lot of our bookings start with rain or snow. Indoor activities in Brampton stay a year-round search for good reason, and we’re indoors, climate controlled and open late — 11 pm every night. A washed-out afternoon becomes a prison break or a zombie outbreak instead of another night in.
Something to do with teenagers in Brampton and Mississauga
Finding activities for teenagers around Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon that aren’t the mall is genuinely hard. VR clears that bar because it doesn’t feel like a family outing arranged for them. Groups of 2 to 6 play the same game together, so birthday groups, cousin visits and Friday-night squads all work, and parents can watch from the spectator screen.
Finding us — and parking
VR Vibe Brampton is at 200 Walker Drive, just off Queen Street East and close to Highway 410, with free on-site parking. That makes us a straight run from Mississauga, Caledon, Vaughan, Georgetown, Bramalea and Etobicoke. Sessions run 60 minutes, we open at 3 pm on weekdays and 11 am at weekends, and no one needs to have touched VR before.
Planning something bigger? We run VR birthday parties with a dedicated game master and private party space, and team building events for Brampton and Mississauga offices. Stuck for a gift? A gift card hands someone an apocalypse and lets them pick the date.
Questions?
Answered.
Where is VR Vibe Brampton and is there parking?
VR Vibe Brampton is at 200 Walker Drive, just off Queen St E and minutes from Highway 410 in the Bramalea area — with free on-site parking right at the door. It’s an easy drive from Mississauga, Caledon, Vaughan and Etobicoke.
What VR games can you play at VR Vibe Brampton?
Free-roam VR shooting games including Mission Planet X, Cops vs Robbers, The Hallow and Terminator Uprising, plus VR escape rooms including The Break-In, Mansion of Death, Wayfinders and Don’t Scream. Every session runs with 2–6 players in the same arena at the same time.
Does VR Vibe Brampton host birthday parties?
Yes — private birthday party packages at the Brampton arena, with a dedicated game master, party space and rotating VR sessions so larger groups all get their turn.
Do I need any VR experience to play?
None at all. Most of our guests have never put on a headset before they walk in. We gear you up, walk you through everything in a few minutes, and a game master is nearby for your whole session. There are no controllers to memorize and no gaming skills required.
What is free-roam VR, and how is it different from regular VR?
In free-roam VR you physically walk around a large open arena — no cables, no chair, no standing on one spot. The headset is wireless and your whole body is tracked, so when you walk, run, duck or reach out, your character does exactly the same. It’s the difference between watching a world and being in one, and it’s why groups leave talking about it.
I’ve done VR somewhere else — how is this different?
Booth and seated VR means a headset on a cable, one person per station, standing on a spot and moving with a thumbstick. VR Vibe is free-roam — the headset is wireless, your whole body is tracked, and you physically walk, run and duck around a large open arena. Up to 6 of you are inside the same game at the same time, seeing and talking to each other. It’s the difference between looking at another reality and walking around inside one, and it’s the main reason people who’ve tried VR elsewhere say this felt like a different activity entirely.
Is free-roam VR better than a VR arcade?
They’re built for different things. A VR arcade is good for trying VR — a few minutes each, one person at a time, take turns. Free-roam is built for groups doing something together: everyone in one game, moving through a shared space for a full 60 minutes, with a game master running it. If you’re on your own and curious, an arcade is fine. If you’ve got friends, family, a team or a birthday group, free-roam is the format that actually uses them.
Do you pay per game, or per session?
Per session, not per game or per credit. You book a 60-minute session and your group can switch between games as often as you like within it — do a zombie round, argue about it, jump into an escape room, come back for a rematch. Nothing is metered and there are no tokens to keep topping up.
How old do you have to be?
Most of our games are great from age 8 and up, and a few family-friendly titles work for kids as young as 6. Our horror experiences are rated 15+. Every game lists its age recommendation on this page, and our team will happily steer a mixed-age group to the right pick when you arrive.
How many people can play at once?
Sessions run with 2 to 6 players in the same game at the same time, all seeing and talking to each other inside the experience. Bigger group? We can run back-to-back sessions or split you across time slots — birthday parties and team events do this all the time. Just tell us your headcount when you book.
Will I get motion sick?
Free-roam VR is much easier on the stomach than couch VR, because your body and your eyes agree: when you move in the game, you’re actually moving. Most guests who worry about motion sickness finish their session without a hint of it. If anyone in your group is sensitive, tell your game master — we’ll recommend the gentlest experiences.
Can I play with glasses?
Yes — our headsets fit comfortably over most regular glasses. If your frames are unusually wide, contacts are slightly more comfortable, but plenty of guests play in glasses every day with no trouble.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes you can move in — think running shoes, not heels. You’ll be walking, turning and sometimes ducking for up to an hour. That’s genuinely the only dress code.
Do I need to book ahead, or can I walk in?
Booking ahead is strongly recommended, especially for evenings and weekends — the arena runs on time slots and popular times fill up days in advance. If we have a free slot when you walk in, we’ll absolutely take you, but a two-minute booking is the only way to guarantee your time.
Where are you located, and which areas do you serve?
We have two arenas: VR Vibe Oakville at 2304 Lakeshore Rd W in Oakville, and VR Vibe Brampton at 200 Walker Drive in Brampton. Between them we’re an easy drive from Burlington, Mississauga, Milton, Halton Hills, Georgetown, Caledon, Etobicoke and Hamilton — most of our guests come from across Halton and Peel. Free parking at both locations.
How much does it cost?
Our summer special is $29.99 per person per hour (regularly $59.99), running until August 30th. Birthday packages and team event pricing are separate — see the birthday parties and team events pages, or grab a gift card and let someone else pick the game.
